VELVET VALENTINE - Tall Bearded Iris Tasco 2015 Honorable Mention 2017 Award of Merit 2019 Standards tightly swirled neyron rose, light purple blush at end of ridge, slight orange blush on edges; falls aster mauve, slightly lighter edge with tangerine beards. slight sweet fragrance. Huge ruffled flowers with a nice sweet fragrance. Lots of buds on this beauty makes for a very long bloomtime. Grows to 35" and blooms early through late season.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
