Shipping policy

PetalsWings ships live iris rhizomes during a limited seasonal window. Please review the information below so you know what to expect from order placement through delivery.

Shipping Region

We currently ship within the United States only.

Seasonal Harvest & Shipping Timeline

Iris are harvested and shipped based on seasonal timing in Ohio. We begin digging in Mid-July and continue until the harvest is complete.

Our goal is to begin shipping orders in Early August, weather permitting, and continue shipping until all orders have been fulfilled.

Because these are live plants and harvest timing can vary, shipping dates are estimates and may shift due to weather, garden readiness, or carrier conditions.

Packaging & How Iris Are Shipped

Iris are shipped bare-root with foliage and roots attached. We pack carefully to protect the plants during transit and to keep them in good condition until delivery.

Shipping Rates

Shipping for iris orders starts at $12.00 for the first item, plus $1.00 for each additional item shipped in the same package.

We ship with tracking and you will receive a tracking email once your order is on the way.

Tracking & Delivery

You will receive an email with tracking information once your order ships. Tracking helps both you and us confirm delivery timing.

Important: Because live plants are perishable, please plan to open and inspect your package promptly when it arrives.

Combined Shipping on Multiple Orders

If you would like to add another iris to an existing order, you may place an additional order and we will combine shipping charges for orders placed through June, as long as the items can ship together in the same box.

Please email us after placing your additional order(s) so we can refund the extra shipping charges.

Order Changes & Cancellations

Orders may be canceled only before they ship. Once an order has shipped, it can no longer be canceled.

Because our products are live plants and seasonal inventory is limited, we do not accept returns once an order has shipped. For full details—including cancellation terms and issue reporting timeframes—please review our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
