TUNNEL VISION - Tall Bearded Iris Keppel 2010 Honorable Mention 2012 Award of Merit 2015 Hybridizer's Comment: Very dark, almost blackish mulberry purple standards and matching 1" to 11/4" falI band. lt's like looking into a tunnel, and the light at the end is in the form of a 1 Y2" creamy lemon to white fall biaze. Non-obtrusive beards are mustard orange with violet base. Round-falled form, closed standards, light ruffling. Stems with three rather close branches, seven buds. Great Carrying power. Grows to 38" and blooms early to mid season. Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
