Pretty bicolor, with nankeen to pinard yellow standards shaded soft lilac on midrib and base. Falls westminster violet at center lightening outward to campanula, and then blended putty near edge…all set off by burnt orange beards. Blocky, semi-flaring form. Only moderate ruffling and size, but giving full impact on six to nine buds. Grows to 34 inches tall and blooms early to mid season.

Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
