It has a vigorous growth habit to match its zealous bloom habit. 34" early to late season. Blooms the first time in the middle of May and then again faithfully at the end of September in Ohio.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
