Standards sulphine yellow to colonial yellow center; style arms wax yellow; falls colonial yellow ground, port wine to horse chestnut solid to washed markings almost overall, hafts flushed more brown; beards bronze yellow and port wine mixture; plicata. Grows to 38 inches tall and blooms early to mid season.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
