SUNNY SLOPE - Tall Bearded Iris SUTTON 2014 Bright yellow standards are the same color as the ½” band on the edge of the white falls. Blue lavender beards are soft yellow in the throat. 7 to 9 buds on tall well branched stalks. Warm, inviting and it’s fragrant. Grows to 35" and blooms mid season.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
