SHADOWED LIGHT - Tall Bearded Iris Keppel 2018 Taking the “lined” theme into the yellow tones. Ruffled pinard yellow to cream standards stand atop lightly shaded greenish yellow falls, the upper portion of which carries olive tan lines on a warm white background. Beards are tannish orange. Strongly flared, heavily substanced, with about seven or eight big flowers on well-branched stalks. Grows to 37" inches tall and blooms mid season.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
