This plant has such unique colors and ruffles—it’s like a wild, unusual magnet! Its height and vibrant colors will definitely grab your eye. It reaches about 36 inches and blooms in the middle to late part of the season.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
