PURPLE PUNCH - Tall Bearded Iris T. Johnson 2016 Dark royal purple standards top rich velvety purple black falls veined deeper and with paler edges. Unique beards are purple black with a bit of dark brown overlay. Nicely branched stalks with 7 buds. Rapid increase from strong, healthy plants. Grows to 33" and blooms mid season.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
