Prince of Hearts - Tall Bearded iris Blythe 10/11 Hybridizer's Comment: Light burgundy-rose blended standards with an olive flush at midribs. Falls are burgundy-rose, with deep burgundy-brown hafts and a slight burgundy-tan edge. Beards are muted gold, mustard and lavender. Full wide flowers and some show stems but selected for its colour in the garden. Grows to 38" and blooms early to midseason.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached. BONUS rhizomes are always included at an average rate of 1 for every 5 purchased...my choice.
