Power Struggle - Tall Bearded Iris Keppel 2019 Honorable Mention 2022 It’s a clash between strong mulberry purple standards, somewhat paler and pinker toward the margins, and ecru falls. Sparks fly in the form of fire red beards. Striking contrast in this wide, strongly flared flower with moderate ruffling. Grows to 36 inches tall and blooms mid season.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
