It’s attractive, it’s different and it’s very well named. You couldn’t ask for anything more. Its distinctive color, refined beauty and rippling petals really work their wonder. Fading to silver over time, the petals have a gilt edge and it’s fragrant. Grows to 35" and blooms mid to late season.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
