Deep purple highlighted with white rays and several tufted-style arms neatly grouped on top. This is likely Terry Aitken's best Japanese iris he introduced. 34" 6 falls mid late bloom
Ensata Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. August through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Ensata Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
