NAPLES - Tall Bearded Iris Johnson 2000 Honorable Mention 2003 Award of Merit 2005 Big ruffled and waved buff colored standards and deep red almost black falls with dark orange beards. Foliage base and stalks light purple; slight sweet fragrance. Grows to 33" and blooms early to mid season.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
