MAYBERRY - Tall Bearded Iris - Fragrant Schreiner 2019 Splendidly displaying broad flaring falls, Mayberry exerts undeniable appeal. The petals end with mild ruffling and laciness. White magically blends with lilac. Darker-toned standards set off the creamy centers of the falls. Adding depth is the introduction of saffron yellow on the tips of the beards and haft veining. What can’t be illustrated is Mayberry’s enticing fragrance. Grows to 35" inches tall and blooms mid season.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached. I'm a hobby gardener with a love for iris and plants that attract birds and butterflies.
