Amazing vigor! Violet standards have pale grayed orange veining and edges. Dark violet falls are veined pale empire yellow with a near cream colored edge. Lemon yellow beards are nestled in the pure white throat. Muted colors but great garden effect! Grows to 36" and blooms early to mid season with all his buds it's a very long lasting bloom.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
