LEMON CHEESECAKE - Tall Bearded Iris Sutton 2020 Honorable Mention 2022 Wonderful form and substance with soft pastel colors. Citron green standards are near white at the edges and have excellent form. White falls have interesting gray veining and just a touch of citron green at the shoulders. Beards are white but have pale yellow tips in the throat. Nice branching with 9 buds and a hint of spicy fragrance. Grows to 35 inches tall and blooms mid to late season.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
