Falls have central violet blue lines radiating out from around blue tipped orange beard. Beautiful form and ruffles on well branched stalks carrying up to 9 buds. Very classy looking and much admired by visitors. Sweet fragrance. Grows to 34 inches tall and blooms late season.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
