INNOCENT STAR - Tall Bearded Iris Sutton 1999 Standards white, washed dark beetroot (RHS 71); style arms dark beetroot and cream; falls yellow and white ground, edged, veined and dotted dark beetroot; beards cream, hairs tipped beetroot; ruffled; slight sweet fragrance. Grows to 35 inches tall and blooms early to mid season with rebloom.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
