Lots of buds and lots of rebloom! Not the best photo of this wonderful rebloomer but the color comes through fine. Standards are strong purple with moderate violet veining. Deeply saturated near black falls are well formed and wide with vivid orange yellow beards. Reliable rebloom with more than one rebloom cycle in our gardens. 9 to 11 buds on weather resistant stalks with a very strong and pleasant sweet fragrance. Grows to 35 inches and blooms early through late season with a strong rebloom!
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
