ILLUMINATI - Tall Bearded Iris Keppel 2019 Honorable Mention 2021 Only average growth but listed by popular demand, this is the best luminata edge we’ve had to date. Similar in looks to its pod parent, but with a wider 1/4” chrome lemon standard edging, narrower on falls. Basic color is a rich french lilac, falls shading bluer toward center. White throat area around the yellow and white beards. With its ruffling and light lace, seeing the late afternoon sun shining through the yellow halo is almost mystical. Grows to 32" and blooms early to mid season.

Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached. BONUS rhizomes are always included at an average rate of 1 for every 5 purchased...my choice.
