Wow, that iris is absolutely stunning! The strawberry pink is so gorgeous, and the lighter area below the pink beard adds such a lovely touch. The form is perfect, and the beautiful color makes it even more special. The great stems and buds really complete the look. It’s probably one of the most beautiful iris flowers I’ve ever seen. Slight sweet scent, Grows to 38" and blooms late to very late season.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached. BONUS rhizomes are always included at an average rate of 1 for every 5 purchased...my choice.
