GRAND NOBLE - Tall Bearded Iris KEPPEL 2022 Ruffled and waved rich, deep purple, the falls with a glossy, almost metallic, sheen. Beards purple tipped mustard, with yellow in the throat. Regal and imposing, the well-branched stems carry nine to twelve (sometime more!) buds. This one commands respect.. Pronounced musky fragrance. Grows to 40 inches tall and blooms early to mid season. Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached. BONUS rhizomes are always included at an average rate of 1 for every 5 purchased...my choice.
