Standards are aster violet blended aureolin edge and base; style arms aster violet; falls blended and washed violet-blue, paler veining, thin aureolin edge, white area beside beards and in throat; beard hairs based white, tips lemon yellow; pronounced spicy fragrance.
Good strong grower and really draws your eye. Grows to 36" and blooms early to late season.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
