So beautiful... Strong performing pinks have been elusive. For Lovers Only beckons you to experience a new level of vigor and health in a crisply ruffled new pink. Heavily ruffled and lightly laced standards are clear, medium pink. Styles are peach pink. Wide, palest pink falls have medium pink diamond dusted hafts and wide blended pink margins. They are adorned with big, looping ruffles. White beards are overlaid cotton candy pink. Healthy, vigorous plants produce show stalks with 9-10 buds. Blooms early to mid season and grows to 37 inches tall.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
