FLOATING FEATHER - Tall Bearded Iris Mego 2016 Space age iris! Ruffled and serrated dresden yellow standards are lightly brushed green at the midribs. Pale violet blue falls have a slightly darker area extending down from the yellow beards. Large upturned flounces mirror the fall color even down to the nicely ruffled edges. Very tall stalks with 7 to 9 buds. Slight spicy fragrance. Grows to 40" and blooms E-M-L season.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
