Bright white standards (upper petals) have a warm yellow flush up the mid ribs with nice yellow veining. Plum purple falls (lower petals) are accentuated with a strong yellow blaze around the yellow-orange beards. Gently ruffled flowers are well branched on strong stalks, 8-10 buds. Nice contrasting colors! Grows to 33 inches tall and blooms mid season. Slight spicy fragrance.

Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
