This lady is hard to forget when she takes her “final bow” in the garden. She is the last to open in my garden. This light pink flattie has a few deeper veins beside the deep pink beard. She is also lightly laced and has serrated edged styles. Slight sweet fragrance Grows to 36" and blooms late to very late season.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
