FIASCO - Tall Bearded Iris - Flattie Blyth 2018 No standards, only 6 falls ands 6 beards, Color is burgundy with slightly deeper veining of burgundy and a 3/8” lavender grey edge and the underside of the petals show in the same color on the ruffle roll. Style arms are prominent apricot and beards are orange. Occasionally, about one in 20 flowers, have broken pattern colour of white. Large flowers and large plants, though a slow increaser. Stands rough weather well. Well branched with plenty of buds. Grows to 45 inches tall and blooms early to mid season.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached. BONUS rhizomes are always included at an average rate of 1 for every 5 purchased...my choice.
