FAITHFUL - Tall Bearded Iris Sutton 2022
Standards are purple on the exterior but mimic the fall color and pattern on the interior. Violet blue falls have a distinct 1 1/2” band at the edge. Pale yellow beards, slight spicy scent and 7 buds on strong stalks. Early rebloom in our zone 6A gardens. Grows to 35 inches tall and blooms early through late season and reblooms. Rebloom reported in zones 6a and 8
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
