DRACULA'S KISS - Tall Bearded iris Schreiner 2009 Honorable Mention 2011 - Award of Merit 2013 This beauty is a sell out every year! It's a prune/purple that darkens to a black/purple. Beards are huge and bright tangerine. A garden standout, vigorous grower and it produces 9-12 buds per stalk on a four branched stem. Grows to 36" and blooms mid to late season.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
