Desert Trails - Tall Bearded Iris Keith Keppel 2017 Quince yellow style arms peek out from between the buff to light marguerite yellow standards with fine pale dove grey dotting. Falls citron yellow, a bit of white on the hafts, with dark greyed purple plicata tracks on borders and hafts. Beards bronze yellow. Good stems, with terminal and three branches, up to 9-10 buds. Blooms mid to late season and grows to 38 inches tall.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
