Dark Wonder - Boarded Bearded Iris Tasco 2012 Honorable Mention 2016 Award of Merit 2019 Standards glossy dark blue violet; style arms light blue violet, bluer ridge, darker blue violet crests; Falls satiny dark blackish purple, some white veins deep beside beard in throat; beards henna brown in throat, ends midnight blue; lightly ruffled; light purple based foliage; slight fragrance. Grows to 27" and blooms early mid season.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
