Dark Triad - Intermediate Bearded Iris Keppel 2017 Honorable Mention 2021 Glossy-falled purple black, with style arms blackish grape. Beards blue tipped with brown, yellow orange in throat. About five flowers with ruffling per stalk. A nice dark accent to precede the tall bearded season. Great bloom and vigorous growth habits. Blooms late season 20" inches tall.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached. BONUS rhizomes are always included at an average rate of 1 for every 5 purchased...my choice.
