Ultra smooth, waxen oxblood standards are held firmly in place by prominent midribs. Wide dark oxblood falls are brought to life by a fine filagree of white veins spread over hafts and extending 1/3 way downward. Bright yellow gold beards. Grows to 36" and blooms mid to late season.

Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
