Rosy violet standards and deep purple falls create a monochromatic look that's nothing short of luxurious. Wire thin light violet rim around each dark, velvety petal is pure purple perfection. Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
