Hybridizer's Comment : Stand back and let this burst open in the garden, it is such a good grower. Standards are opalescent pink with a lilac infusion deepening at the midribs. Falls are iridescent lavender with 1/4" shaded lavender edge. Beards are lightly burnt tangerine Flowers are very ruffled and full with lovely form. Plenty of show stems. Fertility untried. Grows to 38" and blooms early to mid season.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
