The upper petals, or standards, are delicately ruffled, wrinkled, and pansy.The lower petals, or falls, have a mustard inner rim, a pink violet outer edge, and an electric blue belly stripe. They are red violet veined violet pink. 36" Late midseason bloom.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
