COLOURS OF THE WIND - Tall Bearded Iris Blyth 2014 A true amoena with no other colour in the standards but white. Falls have layers of colour, the base colour is cream with an apricot beige layer over it and a further layer of dots and veining of light violet. It is lighter around the beards and more apricot at the hafts. Beards are vivid red. Full ruffed flowers with show stems and a super grower.slight sweet fragrance. Grows to 34 inches tall and blooms early to mid season.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
