CHANGING SEASONS
SCHREINER 2004
Honorable Mention 2006
An absolute original. No other Iris has such a unique color combination of pristine white standards over a luminous blend of sunburst gold and tan-beige in the falls. This very late bloomer also produces gigantic 4 1/2" x 7" flowers with creamy yellow mid-ribs, style arms and beards. The stiff stem easily produces double-socketed buds, 8-9 flowers per stalk and will hold up in inclement weather. Grows to 37”, VERY LATE bloom season.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
BONUS rhizomes are always included at an average rate of 1 for every 5 purchased...my choice.
