CASTLE PEAK - Tall Bearded Iris Sutton 2021
White standards are heavily laced with a nice pale apricot flush up the midribs. White falls have intriguing grayed orange shoulders that nestle orange beards. Very thick substance to the petals and heavy lacing on both standards and falls. 7 buds on show stalks with a scent that smells like the inside of a candy store. Really nice flower! Grows to 35 inches tall and blooms mid season.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached. BONUS rhizomes are always included at an average rate of 1 for every 5 purchased...my choice.
