CAPTAIN THUNDERBOLT- Tall Bearded Iris Blyth 2011 Standards lilac lavender; falls lower half violet, upper half white edges with violet veining radiating outward, 3/16" lilac-lavender edge; beards tangerine orange, white at end; slight sweet fragrance. Grows to 36 inches tall and blooms early to mid season.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
