Brilliant Idea is a jaunty neglecta with 2 branches per stem and 7-8 buds on each. Wavy, cool white standards refreshingly complement the columbine blue-banded white fall. This excellent grower’s large yellow beards finish it off nicely.
Grows to 36 inches tall and blooms mid season.

Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
