These classically styled, near-perfectly formed flowers are supported by strong show stalks having 3 branches and 8-9 buds. Plants are quite disease resistant and growth is strong and vigorous. Grows to 45 inches tall and blooms mid to very late season.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
