Blueberry Tart - Standard Dwarf Bearded Iris Chapman 2002 Award of Merit - 2008 Standards are blue, dark violet red near base; style arms blue. The falls are reddish tan, brownish red central spot fading to blue edge, short blue spear at end of dark blue beard; tailored, flared. Grows to 11 inches Early bloom and multiple rebloom.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
