Light yellow standards, oyster white falls narrowly banded light yellow, with sulfur-suffused hafts. Primrose yellow beards are blue on the outer third. Broad, waved and ruffled blooms on strong, husky stems. Although listed at 38”, it can do more...like in May, 2016 when it won Best in Show at Salem with a 50” stalk that could barely fit in the show container! Blooms mid season and grows to 38 inches tall.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
