BLANK VERSE - Intermediate Bearded Iris Keppel 2019 Honorable Mention 2022 Ruffled petals with immaculately clean white flowers. A light flush of apricot spreads over the shoulders, and hafts are punctuated by white-based flame orange beards. This is a smaller sib to border iris Sorbet Swirl, and it is also a glaciata. Grows to 24 inches tall and blooms mid season.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
