Huge ruffled flowers are heavily marked greyed huckleberry purple to windsor purple on ivory to light yellow ground. Dark beards combine violet blue, bronze, and mustard brown, with a touch of flame deep in the throat. Strong branching each with seven to nine buds.
Grows to 34" and blooms late season.

Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
