Wistful farewells will be both for the iris season and this late hanger-on. Broadly rounded, strongly ruffled form, with flared,overlapping falls which carry just a hint of lace. Soft creamy peach standards, blended warm lavender falls faintly shaded light lobelia blue in center, light pinkish beards. .Blooms mid/late season. 37 inch stalks.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
